Pensive & Passive

I created this piece with the intention for it to be ambiguously beautiful; expressing two of life's most explosive transformations, birth and death. Telling a story of reflection and renewal: something tender, yet destructive. The testament of this digital illustration spoke to me once it was complete, "You must let go of what you once were, to become something new all together. There is beauty in dissolving and detachment. Do not run from what is meant for you because of fear, accept, embrace, and overcome it."
